I am the proud Mother of Bea Dickman. She wanted to pursue a career in beauty, so we decided to find the best education provider in beauty therapy for our daughter… and the rest is history: She studied at OICB, worked very hard, graduated with flying colours and obtained her CIBTAC & CIDESCO Diplomas!
OICB is an outstanding college, fun to study at (so says Bea, and believe me.. she likes to have fun!) the tutors are highly experienced and everyone is very approachable and friendly. As she finished her course, she found a job immediately!

Since leaving this brilliant college some years ago now my daughter Ruth has achieved so much. She owns and runs her own salon, Beautiful Escape in our village Mortimer Common outside Reading. The salon opened over 4 years ago and employs 4 lovely therapists. The training at the college was superb and she teaches her therapists in the same way. Thoroughly recommend this college.

I would like to take a moment to thank you Heidi and all the staff at OICB for doing such a great job at preparing my daughter Annie to become a beauty therapist.

As we explained before signing her up for the course, passing exams has never been her forte, but with close communication and support from your staff, we would like to express again our absolute delight that she passed all her CIBTAC and CIDESCO exams and is now a fully qualified professional with an internationally recognised certification.
We would also like to thank you for the great support you offered in helping Annie and the other students to find both work placements during the course and a job after qualifying.  Annie followed up after Lizzie’s tip off about the job at the Spa at the Randolph Hotel in Oxford, and was offered a full time job straight away.  Clearly the interview was important, but her CV did look excellent with the array of qualifications and work experience that she had gained whilst training at a college with such an excellent reputation.

In conclusion, we feel that the investment, about the equivalent of one year’s university fees, to get her qualified and working as a professional in the beauty industry was a very good one.

I popped into the college on the off chance to see what they had to offer as my daughter was set on going back to college and studying beauty therapy despite being a mature student in her mid 20s. She had enrolled in the local technical college but after viewing the college we found OICB was more than we could have hoped for and chose to pay privately for her education and don’t regret a moment. She received excellent training and care from all staff and within 10 months she was fully qualified to the highest possible standards with CIBTAC and CIDESCO qualifications. The college also found her a job with Virgin Active in Oxford which she loves, and a year on, she still enjoys every day at work! She made some life-long friends and was thrilled not to be the only mature student in the group. A big thank you to all the tutors for helping her to achieve her dream job and help her to enjoy her career in beauty therapy.

My husband and I are really proud and delighted with Maddy’s achievements at OICB. As an able student with good A level grades, Maddy had many career paths from which to choose. She has always wanted to follow a career in beauty and her CIDESCO training has been first class. The tutors are knowledgeable, friendly and supportive and the many and varied courses offered are in depth, challenging and very satisfying. She has made many new friends and had many happy experiences. It is lovely to know that you can give so much pleasure to clients whilst enjoying your own career. Not many people are able to say “I love my work!”

Whilst studying for her ‘A’ levels, our daughter was initially looking at University courses offering Spa Management. However, whilst researching her options during her final year at college, she worked part-time within a Spa and decided to also look at the possibility of becoming a therapist because she realised she would need to understand how to work as a therapist in order to understand how to manage them effectively.

The Oxford International College of Beauty offered her the opportunity to train and study in a professional environment whilst also experiencing life away from home. We were therefore delighted when she was offered a place on the full-time CIDESCO/CIBTAC course.
Our daughter has excelled in her studies and we are proud that she has graduated with such a prestigious qualification and we were thrilled that she was awarded CIDESCO Student of the Year 2014. We have the confidence that she will progress quickly in career and have the potential to become a Spa Manager in the near future.

As a parent of a recent graduate I would like to commend Erika Oswin and her dedicated staff at Oxford International College of Beauty for operating such an excellent institution. The higher standards to which they hold their students accountable have given my daughter an invaluable start to her career in Beauty Therapy. I would highly recommend this college if your child is interested in doing a beauty. Apprenticeship. My daughter Brodie Thomas did a 2 year course here and she has loved every minute. Brodie didn’t do well at school and struggled with the work there but at OICB she has flourished under these ladies and become a very talented Beauty Therapist. I am grateful to all of her teachers here for the guidance and help they gave her over the last 2 years. I am very proud of what she has achieved and I’m under no doubt that without this Apprenticeship she would not be where she is now.
