For every group of graduates we hold a graduation awards ceremony where the students are presented with their certificates by the College Principal and certain outstanding students are presented with awards.

On Thursday 6th November a group of 16 students gathered with all the OICB staff and their CIDESCO examiner Andrea Van den Haute to be presented with a lovely speech from Andrea about the high standards they had achieved at OICB and how proud they should be of themselves as they set off on their exciting career paths. Certificates were proudly received by all and awards were presented to two exceptional students.

CIDESCO Student of the Year Award November 2014

The ‘CIDESCO Student of the Year Award 2014’ was awarded to Madeleine Paton from Didcot, who was thrilled to learn she had been unanimously elected by her tutors for this prestigious award.  Madeline reached her full potential through hard work and dedication to her studies and maintained the high professional ethics expected from OICB.  Erika Oswin, College Principal awarded Madeline with a plaque and gifts from Dermalogica and Inline London. Madeline is about to embarque on a career in a British spa in Sussex, who are very lucky to have her.

CIBTAC Student of the Year Award November 2014

The ‘CIBTAC Student of the Year Award 2014’ was awarded to Summer Rock from Oxford who was excited to have been recognized for her hard work and enthusiasm for the beauty industry. Erika Oswin, College Principal awarded Summer with a plaque and gifts from Decleor and Lava Shells. Summer is currently working in a large salon in Oxford and is eager to build her clientele and product training in this salon who are thrilled to have her in their team.
