AN OLYMPIC FINISH TO THE END OF THE CIBTAC AND CIDESCO YEAR.

With medals all round, the students achieved 100% passes in their CIDESCO exams with exceptionally high theory results this year. CIDESCO examiner Anna-Lie praised the College for our warm welcome and exceptionally high, professional standards.

Similar comments were also expressed by the CIBTAC examiner who endorsed their admiration for OICB and for successfully upholding its reputation as a college of excellence. International examining boards throughout the world expect to see “only the best” and we can certainly boast delivery of “the very best”.

2012 BEAUTY AND SPA WORK PLACEMENTS

Industry have continued to support the OICB in 2012 and surpassed all expectations this year by offering work experience places. We send our sincere thanks to all of you who gave the students the opportunity to work in your prestigious spas and salons. We placed 33 CIBTAC and CIDESCO student in work placements around the world, and received some great feedback from Spas such as Ragdale Hall, Grayshott Spa and also from local salons such as Liz Evans Beauty and Cedar Therapy. Work experience placements are ideal opportunities for companies to trial students ready for employment. We were pleased to see many companies offered our students jobs and are glad that some of girls have already started working for example Emily Sharp, who is loving her job at Cedar Therapy and putting her skills learnt at OICB to good use.

The Beauty Industry appears to be riding the economic storm as well as the unfortunate storms of the summer and all students who graduated have been presented with employment opportunities.

Hard work, dedication, professionalism and passion for the beauty therapy is our mantra and we once again wish all of you a successful, happy and rewarding career.
