We have been enjoying the glorious weather here at the college these last few weeks. We managed to keep our classrooms nice and cool though for our CIDESCO exams last week. Evelina Sylle, our CIDESCO Examiner, flew in from the Netherlands to be our examiner for the three days. Results were announced at a lovely graduates lunch hosted by our Tutor Lizzie on Thursday, we are so proud and over the moon for all our CIDESCO girls! They have worked so hard to achieve their goals. All our CIDESCO graduates go into immediate employment now and we wish them well on the rest of their journey.

Friday evening, at the wonderful Witney Lakes Resort, was stunning back drop to our 28th Graduation & Awards Ceremony. We had a wonderful evening celebrating the successes of our students on all courses ranging from evening beauty classes, apprenticeships, part-time beauty and massage courses and our full-time course. We welcomed over 30 students with their families, welcoming 80 people in total. We enjoyed drinks by the lake with photos, a delicious meal followed by presentations of certificates and awards, ending the night with a good dance, where staff joined students and their families on the dance floor.

During the evening certificates were presented to all students as well as special awards announced as below, congratulations to our Prize Winners for 2018!

• Evening Class student of the Year – Caitlin Simmons
